Over the last few months we've valued businesses that have no growth (and a declining client base) to those that are growing at 15-20% per year.
While there's no perfect answer, what we can see if that some level of growth both in indexation of fees, and addition of new clients, is important to building a strong and sustainable business.
The difficulty is having capacity to grow, but not so much so that it is costing the business in under utilised advisers. One of the best ways to create capacity is via efficiencies in your business and leveraging your team.
